Share our Passion
Our founding mission is to give children experiences that are unknown to them. Provide basic necessities such as school shoes and hygiene wear to children that have no family support such as those living in orphanages. The main part of our mission is to achieve donations (Financial or non-financial) to achieve our annual target of 1200, School Shoes. (Each year the Bakwena walk for charity has been in existence represents 100 School Shoes). Support to make the day a reality. We call on all stakeholders to contribute what they can towards making the even a success. The list is available below.

Participation Support
By participating in the walk as a walker, mountain biker or even day visitor, you contribute to the initiative. Purchasing a ticket and contribution to the shoes drive by bring a new pair of school shoes, you would have made a meaningful impact in a life of a child.
Privately by and donate school shoes to the initiative. Alternatively you can make a monetary donation and specify that it is for the purpose of purchasing shoes.
Financial Contribution
Financially contribute towards a Sound system and stage, Lighting for the evening event, T-shirts for Walkers, Drinking bottles, goodies for our goody bag, caps and any other item you are able to donate.
Event exhibition and Participation
Event exhibition and participation opportunities allow you to sell food, showcase products for sale, conduct educational programs and drive interest to your organization or brand. We welcome businesses who wish to exhibit or be a day vendor.
Day Visitor Participation
Day visitor participation makes the day memorable and enjoyable. We have old age homes, schools, local clubs and hiking fanatics joining the event each year. If this is new to you, we are confident that you will want to support each year.
